Textured Polishes

You'd have to be living under a rock not to have heard of the new trend in nail polish--Textured Polishes. Shattering nail polishes seem to be the most popular type of the trend. Two popular brands of the shattering nail lacquer are Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat ($6.99, Ulta and most drug stores) and OPI Shatter (Or Nicole by OPI Nail Polish Texture Coat or Sephora by OPI Blasted Nail Colour) With a Shatter nail polish all you have to do is paint your nails a solid color, and when the nails are dry, apply the Crackle/Shatter overcoat, and the topcoat "bursts" apart to show the color below. The result is a fashionable and fierce manicure.
OPI Black Shatter is a trendy look that doesn't require any high maintenance to get a salon-like manicure

Let's explore some other types of textured nail polishes. Some other ways to try out this trend is a matte manicure. Matte manicures are very fashion forward. The effect is very high fashion and many models wear the design backstage. You could create a stylish matte manicure by running a nail buffer over your nails or by buying a special matte manicure topcoat. One example of this special topcoat is the China Glaze Matte Magic Top Coat.

A black matte manicure with a shiny black tip--the classic matte manicure and one of the hottest looks around.
Another gorgeous textured polish choice to explore is a magnetic polish. The magnetic polish is a special kind of polish that is applied and then moved around with the cap on the nail polish. This creates a unique unexpected look-no special manicure tools needed! (See below)

This stunning magnetic polish makes a statement
So try out a stylish textured polish. They're haute and very high fashion, and EASY! A high fashion look without the special tools!

XOXO
